Queensland’s stunning Whitsundays are what tropical holiday dreams are made of and Bowen Holiday Park is the perfect base to discover and explore the sights, attractions and natural wonders of this coastal haven.
With a great range of caravan park and self-contained cabin accommodation to choose from, you can holiday in comfort, your way. Set on beautifully landscaped grounds complete with majestically swaying coconut palms with a sensational lagoon style swimming pool that features built-in waterfall fountains, relax in style or settle in to cook up a storm in the modern camp kitchen, BBQs and picnic areas.
Self-catering cabin options are a great base for day tripping through the region with all mod cons to suit. Choose from 1- or 2- bedroom cabins ideal for couples or families, and equipped with open plan living, kitchenette and ensuite.
If you are bringing your caravan, camper trailer or motorhome, campsites are large and private, and in close proximity to park amenities including camp kitchen, picnic areas and BBQs. Spacious sites are lawned with awning slab, and you can choose from powered sites with or without ensuite depending on your needs. Many sites are large enough for your car to remain hooked up, which great for ease of access.
Unpowered sites provide another camping experience and are located under shade-providing trees in the picturesque grounds. These sites are a terrific and extremely cost-effective way to enjoy a real camping experience, all the while still being able to enjoy the park’s convenient facilities.
Naturally when people come to this part of Queensland, they like to explore all that the remarkable Whitsundays have to offer and the staff at park reception are available to help with recommendations and tour bookings. The local beaches are pristine and fringed by tropical palms; perfect for snorkelling, diving and fishing tours. Bowen is famous for mangoes, so make sure you take a selfie with the Big Mango on the Bruce Highway on your way into town. For a lowkey day of exploring by foot, check out some of the interesting wall murals around town. There are 27 in total and they depict Bowen from early settlement through to the present day.
Please note we also have an off leash dog area (*terms and conditions apply).
